On Friday 15th September Coventry Cathedral will again, play host to the St Basils Coventry Sleepout. Now in its third year this fundraising charity event attracts participants from across the Coventry area, who volunteer to sleep rough for a night and raise money to prevent youth homelessness in Coventry.

Avtar Kaur of Langar Aid said "Langar Aid is humbled to be supporting St Basil's Coventry Sleepout by serving fresh hot food to all those taking part in the sleepout. We look forward to working alongside St Basil's, who do a tremendous job in supporting those in need and especially the youth. We hope together we can help the community in spreading awareness"

Barrie Hodge the Head of Fundraising at St Basils said, “Seeing the people of Coventry come together in this way, supporting less fortunate neighbours is genuinely heart-warming. Every year we have people from the local area volunteering to sleep rough and raise money to help prevent youth homelessness in Coventry. On the night we run the Creative Cardboard Competition, which is always highly contested and makes the event even more fun on top of the live bands and now great food. ”

They support. Young people who are under threat of being homeless.
