Jula Brady, Support Manager at our emergency accommodation scheme in Yardley and Mildenhall House in Solihull would like to thank local supporters for all the help they recieved in the run up to Christmas:
She says: "We received so many fantastic donations for Christmas this year we really were over whelmed with the kindness and generosity of people".
"We really want to say a massive thank you to Karen and Claire from Solihull who once again worked so hard on putting together shoe boxes to give presents to all the young people not just at Yardley and Solihull but across the agency. They also fundraised and bought dinner and goodies for young people on Christmas day".
"We would also like to say a massive thankyou to Tracey Harriott from the NEC who donated food and clothing from Starbucks and staff Dinins and friends and family".
"A big massive thank you needs to go to the Renal Unit at Heartlands hospital who once again dropped off presents and lots of goodies to our young people, they have been doing this for the last couple of years, so a big thank you to Lisa Proctor and Dolly Spencer just 2 of the wonderful staff there".
"We also want to thank Sajid Ali from feeding the world who dropped off lots of food for young people over the festive period".
"And finally we have a lovely lady who every year drops off presents for young people, who is an ex resident of Yardley House. She does not want her name mentioned but tells us that she believes St Basils saved her life many years ago and she as gone on to be a solicitor but never forgets what was done for her".
"All in all we had so many donations and wanted to thank all these people who do it because they care".
"SO FROM ALL OF US THANKYOU!"
