Christmas has come early for Young People in Solihull
11 DEC 2014

All the young people in Solihull would like to say a big thank you to two very special ladies (supporters Karen Brown and Clare Currie) who have been fundraising throughout the year, and enlisting the help of friends and family, have worked hard to make this a very special Christmas for all the young people in Solihull.

They have put together over 100 shoes boxes of Christmas presents for males and females and bought a turkey and all the trimmings for Christmas day. Not only that they have supplied Christmas trees and decorations for the projects.

To top it all off they did a bucket shake in Solihull on Saturday 29th November with staff from Solihull and the Fundraising team and have helped raise over £400 for Mildenhall House.

Manager Jula Brady said “Without the support of Karen and Clare Christmas would be a very different story this year.

Karen and Clare do all this in their own time and often use their own money and all they ask in return is that young people know that someone cares.

So a BIG THANKYOU – you are both absolute stars!”
