Accountancy firm JW Hinks have handed over a cheque for £4,500, after making St Basils their charity of the year!
They took part in our 13 mile St Basils Rutland Challenge walk back in June, the Great Birmingham run and a 12,500 ft tandem skydive, a Halloween bake-off and a festive fashion event they organised themselves, to raise this fantastic total!
“St Basils play a fantastic role in our community, supporting young people who need it most, and that is why they were chosen as our charity for 2015/16”, said Neal Aston, Managing Partner at JW Hinks.
"We are very proud of the team and what they have achieved this year, and I hope that the money we’ve raised for St Basils will go a long way in supporting Birmingham’s most vulnerable community”.
Barrie Hodge, Head of Fundraising at St Basils, said: “We were absolutely thrilled to be the chosen charity of JW Hinks in 2015/16. The phenomenal amount of £4,500 they raised for our work is absolutely fantastic.
“The money will be invested in our learning skills and work team, who work with young people without a home to make sure they have all the skills they need to never go without a home again. On behalf of them, thank you so much.
