NYRG young people take part in ‘Young and Homeless’ report
01 NOV 2014

National Youth Reference Group (NYRG) young people who have all experienced homelessness, have been working alongside Homeless Link again this year, on the annual national Young and Homeless Report with researchers Rachel Hurcombe, Research Officer and Francesca Albanese, Research Manager.

Homeless Link’s ‘Young and Homeless’ reports explore the reasons young people become homelessness, the support available to them and areas where improvements should be made.

Based on responses from frontline homelessness charities and local authority housing departments, the 2014 report provides a picture of the experiences of young homeless people in England.  Every year, facilitated by St Basils, the National Youth Reference Group discuss the findings with Homeless Link and look at solutions. These will be incorporated into this year’s National Report due out later this month.
