Residents of Solihull donate 150 boxes towards Christmas Shoebox appeal!
13 DEC 2016

Playing Santa Clause for the day, Barrie Hodge, Head of Fundraising at St Basils takes receipt of over 150 Christmas Boxes which he will distribute to various St Basils projects around the region.

The boxes, contain toiletries and small gifts, were donated in the main by residents of Solihull and this fantastically generous donation was coordinated by Clare Curry and Karen Brown.

Clare and Karen have supported the work of St Basils for many years and have not only galvanised many people into helping with fundraising but have raised the awareness of the residents of Solihull to the very real issue of youth homelessness in their area.

These boxes will go a long way to making Christmas special again for our young people. Thank you!

Over 450 young people and in some cases their children as well will be spending Christmas with St Basils. If you also want to donate Xmas shoebox presents to our young residents - there's still time! Find out how to donate here >>>
