POSITION:

CLEANERS / HOUSEKEEPERS

REPORT TO:

SUPERVISOR – SCHEME MANAGER

LOCATION:

VARIOUS – WEST BROMWCH, REDDITCH, KIDDERMINSTER, BROMSGROVE.

SALARY:

SCALE 3 £17,550 PER ANNUM, PRO-RATA

HOURS:

18.75 HOURS PER WEEK

St Basils has opportunities for Cleaners based in West Bromwich, Redditch, Kidderminster and Bromsgrove. These are 18.5 hour per week permanent contracts, paying £17,550 pro-rata, per annum.

St Basils works with young people aged 16-25 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, helping over 5000 young people per year across the West Midlands region with specific services in Birmingham, Sandwell, Solihull, Walsall, Warwickshire, Worcestershire, the Wyre Forest and Coventry. This is a fantastic opportunity to provide a clean and safe environment to young people.

Key activities specific to the role include:

  • To clean rooms e.g. bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchens etc.
  • To clean beds and cot mattresses, furniture, doors, blinds curtains, woodwork, lamp shades, fans, radiators, windows and frames.
  • To replenish cleaning supplies and restock items such as toilet rolls, paper towels and soap.

The ideal candidates will:

  • Be professional and organised.
  • Have the ability to work quickly and thoroughly.
  • Have the ability to recognise areas for improvement.
