SCALE 5, POINTS 22 – 25, £19,757 - £21,669 PER ANNUM

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

To ensure that a range of housing management services are provided to young people. This will include paying rent, reporting repairs supporting Youth Engagement Services, claiming benefits, maximising income, ensuring Welfare Reform compliance, budgeting, grants and debt management. Ensuring that Health and Safety is not compromised in any way. Overall to assist young people in achieving their aspirations and a successful transition to adulthood.

Many of our young people have not had the best start in life and face significant challenges in securing a positive future - they need support to make progress and achieve their aspirations especially around employability. As a Housing Management Worker, you will have a case load of young people and you will play a central role in their lives, working alongside them to claim benefits, maximise their income, report repairs and overall assist in helping our young people to reach their ambitions.
