Central Rails Systems Alliance (CRSA) Aston take on the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge in aid of St Basils

CRSA Aston have partnered with West Midland’s charity St Basils to raise money to support the invaluable work they do to support young people.

CRSA logoSt Basils is a non-for-profit charity organisation helping to support young people aged 16-25 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

Every year over 1500 young people are being housed by St Basils 42 supported accommodation schemes. Their aim is to provide these young people with a range of prevention, accommodation, support, employability and engagement services to enable young people to regain the stability they need to develop their skills, increase opportunity and rebuild their lives.

CRSA Aston, have teamed up with their suppliers to walk the Yorkshire’s 3 Peaks in September in aid of this amazing charity. A group of almost 60 walkers will set out to hike Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, the three highest peaks in Yorkshire.

Stephen Welsh, a spokesman for the Aston Depot said:

‘We have chosen to support St Basil’s because the work they do is invaluable to young people in the West Midlands and because we want to help this local charity do more. We will also be volunteering our time where possible to provide young people with employability skills to help them regain the stability they need to rebuild their lives’.
