The Cannock Chase Running Festival Trails are coming back in 2026!
Set within the stunning surroundings of Cannock Chase, this trail running event offers beautiful woodland paths, open heathland and a truly refreshing escape from the everyday. Whether you’re taking on your first trail run or looking for a new challenge, this is the perfect opportunity to get outside, get moving and make a real difference.
Includes 5K, 10K and Half Marathon distances!
Why Take Part?
At St Basils, we provide accommodation, support and guidance to around 1,000 young people every night who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness. These young people are not just given a safe place to stay, but are also offered training, employment opportunities and well-being support to help them rebuild their lives and achieve lasting independence.
Every pound raised goes directly to our mission of preventing youth homelessness — and by taking part, you become a crucial part of that mission.

What To Expect & Key Things To Know…
- Mixed terrain including forest paths, trails and gentle inclines.
- Suitable for a wide range of abilities — you can run, jog or take it at your own pace.
- Registration includes a place in the race plus support from the St Basils team.
- Once registered, you’ll receive a fundraising page and helpful tools to reach your target.
- If you’re on track to reach target, you’ll also be gifted a St Basils running vest!
