Waiting List – London Landmarks 2026

The 2027 London Landmarks Half Marathon will take place in April.

The London Landmarks Half Marathon is a closed-road race through the heart of central London and is the only half marathon to pass through both the City of London and the City of Westminster.

This is far more than your average half marathon. The route weaves together world-famous landmarks, rich history, and some of the capital’s most quirky and hidden gems, offering runners a truly unique way to experience London.

In previous years, the route begins on Downing Street and finishes in Trafalgar Squar. It includes unforgettable views of iconic sights including Big Ben, St Paul’s Cathedral, Nelson’s Column, the Gherkin, the Shard, the Tower of London, and the London Eye.

What to expect when you join Team St Basils…

  • Personal support every step of the way
We set a fundraising target of £2,500, which can seem daunting at first. But with our tools, tips, and full support, our runners not only reach their target — they often go on to exceed it!

  • A ready-made community
You’ll have the chance to meet and chat with other London Marathon runners in Team St Basils. We set up a WhatsApp group so you can share advice, ask questions, and give (and get!) a boost whenever it’s needed.

  • A behind-the-scenes tour of St Basils
Before the big day, you’ll be invited to visit St Basils and see first-hand the impact your fundraising will have. It’s a brilliant opportunity to learn more about the work you’re supporting — and to share that story with friends and family when asking for donations.

“Being part of the Team St Basils was a true honour and I’m extremely proud to have been able to be part of such a great experience.

The support network of the other runners and the team at St Basils really helped with the motivation to get out there and train. Everyone was so supportive and made sure that we all felt part of something really special.

The big day was just unbelievable.. being able to soak up the atmosphere and experience all that London had to offer was a experience I’ll never forget.. and to top it all off, knowing that I and the other St Basils runners had contributed in changing the lives of young homeless people in Birmingham.”

Ashley, Former Team St Basils Runner
