Manchester Marathon

Registrations for 2026 is now closed. However, you can register your interest for the 2027 Manchester Marathon using the link below. While it may feel far away, these events are organised far in advance, so it’s best to register your interest as soon as possible.

 

The adidas Manchester Marathon, the UK’s second largest marathon and one of Europe’s largest is an iconic event drawing participants from all over the world to the vibrant streets of Greater Manchester.

Many regular runners find this the ideal event to get a personal best time, whilst everybody finds the incredible Mancunian support throughout the course unforgettable

 

Why Take Part?

At St Basils, we provide accommodation, support and guidance to around 1,000 young people every night who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness. These young people are not just given a safe place to stay, but are also offered training, employment opportunities and well-being support to help them rebuild their lives and achieve lasting independence.

Every pound raised goes directly to our mission of preventing youth homelessness — and by taking part, you become a crucial part of that mission.

  • Registration includes a place in the race plus support from the St Basils team.
  • Once registered, you’ll receive a fundraising page and helpful tools to reach your target.
  • If you’re on track to reach target, you’ll also be gifted a St Basils running vest!

 

Please note: While we can’t cover travel costs, we’re competitive with other providers and work hard to make this an amazing, supportive experience for everyone involved.
