WOOFS ’25

WOW! What a day…

So many dogs, so much fun, so many smiling faces.

St Basils wants to extend a massive thanks to all the dog owners and dog lovers who turned up on Sunday 16th March for WOOFS (Solihull’s very own Crufts).

The atmosphere was fantastic, and we have raised a lot of money to help prevent youth homelessness in this region.

We also want to say thank you to all the vendors who were there, and particularly to Animal Kind, who ran the Agility Zone and awards presentation to perfection.

Another big shout out to Solihull Council and the staff at the Parkridge Visitors Centre in Brueton Park, without who’s support we could not have brought this amazing event to you.

Check out the photos from the day below:

What's on Offer at WOOFS?

The Woof Run

A 1 kilometre challenge involving off road wood track, Cruft’s-like obstacles and what we think is the UK’s largest mud patch! Can your pooch set a personal best time and earn their certificate? If your dog likes mud, this is the challenge for them!

The Bark Walk

A 700 metre walk on flat tarmac around a picturesque lake with other friendly dog-walkers. See how many laps you and your dog can do, and earn a special certificate with the amount of laps.

The Agility Zone

Animal Kind Dog Training & Behaviour will be running a have-a-go Agility Zone in the heart of the WOOFS Village at Brueton Park. Try your paws at dog agility, including jumps, tunnels, hoopers and more….Get tips on dog training for you and your best friend.

Fancy Dress Competition

A prize for the best dressed dog in fancy dress, judged on the day. Your dog doesn't have to come in fancy dress- but we do encourage it. The second best thing to seeing your dog dressed up is seeing other dogs dressed up!

Doggy Raffle

Unique dog prizes to be won! Buy your raffle tickets in the WOOFS village, where there will be other pooch-related stalls to browse with freebies, tips, training tricks, and other furry friends to meet.

Be proud

Dogs are pure hearted, and we believe if they could help a charity- they would! Turn your dog into a fundraiser by having friends, family and colleagues sponsor your dog for a timed Woof Run finish or number of laps completed.

Thank you

A big thank you to our supporters, including Solihull Council, Warwickshire Wildlife Trust, Brueton Park, Animal Kind, Dukes Pet Care, Molley Coddles, Maya’s Munchies, Woof Wiffs, The Snooty Pooch and the Solihull Riding Club.
