Every young person deserves a safe place to call home—but right now, many are struggling on the streets or in precarious situations across the West Midlands.

We’re here to change that, but we can’t do it alone.

We need your creativity, your passion, and your unique ideas to help raise funds and awareness for youth homelessness, and our dedicated fundraising team are here to help you make your creative ideas a reality.

Let’s put the fun in fundraising!

We’ve already been lucky enough to have some fabulous advocates and fundraisers over the years.
Check out a few of our favourites below for inspiration:

Harley Davidsons Drive

The Harley Owners Group Birmingham got together for a donation drive to a local St Basils Project, delivering much needed goods, and even allowing our young people and staff to sit on and rev the bikes!

First Time at the Beach

UK Electrical funded a trip to Weston Super Mare for one of our projects, as they heard many of our young people hadn't been to a beach before. It helped the young people to engage with staff and gave them an opportunity to experience a normal childhood rite of passage.

Wedding Favours

The wonderful John Paddington has been documenting his travel with Basil Bear (and his mascot Paddington) for years now, spreading awareness. Travel Basil even made an appearance at his and his Bride's wedding as wedding favours, raising funds for our young people.

Garden Parties

2022 London Marathon runner Hannah held a garden party to help boost her fundraising for St Basils. She made a further £1,000 by holding this event with support from our fundraising team, selling cakes and raffle tickets!

Social Media Awareness

John Paddington, Karl Raw and David Chapman (Adventures of an Introvert) often bring Basil Bear on their travel, music and sports adventures round the world, snapping pics and tagging us on socials so they can spread the word about youth homelessness. Many people know our name through these 3 fabulous individuals alone!

Passion for Fashion

When BBC Doctors ceased production, the wonderful wardrobe department donated the Doctors wardrobe to St Basils to sell, which lead to donations and even fans visiting our pop-up shop from across the country to grab a piece of Doctors History! Other brands such as GymShark and Hoodrich have also donated youth-appropriate clothing directly to our young people.
