By donating your old laptop to charity, you can help provide young people with a way to stay connected with the world and access important resources.
As a youth homelessness charity in the West Midlands, we are dedicated to helping young people aged 16-25 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
Our organisation understands the struggles that young people face when they do not have a stable home to live in, which can advance technological exclusion.
One way that you can support us in bridging this gap is by donating your old, working laptops.
Laptops specifically are an essential way to make sure that young people are connected, feel seen and heard, and can reach out to urgent support when they need it, as well as applying for jobs, booking health appointments and training/ development.
It also serves as a great way to recycle your old laptops, and stay environmentally friendly whilst also helping our charity.
Please consider recycling/ donating your old laptop to St Basils and join us in our mission to prevent youth homelessness.
You can send or drop off your old laptop(s) to our Birmingham Youth Hub address, preferably restored to factory settings with their charger:
