As Chief Executive of St Basils, Jean Templeton leads the organization’s mission to support young people who are homeless or at-risk across the West Midlands.

With over two decades of dedicated service at St Basils and a prior extensive career in housing services, Jean brings unmatched expertise and commitment to the role.

She guides the strategic vision of St Basils, ensuring that young people facing homelessness have access to safe housing, support, and opportunities for personal growth.

Jean collaborates with local and national leaders, chairs the West Midlands Homelessness Taskforce, and is an active voice on government advisory panels addressing homelessness.

Her leadership is driven by a deep commitment to youth empowerment, advocacy, and systemic change which designs out homelessness and makes our mainstream systems more inclusive for all.
