Assistant Psychologist – PIE Team

We are looking to recruit an Assistant Pyschologist (PIE) to support and enhance the implementation of a Psychologically Informed Environment (PIE) within St. Basils, including; providing psychological assessment, formulation and supporting staff with delivering psychological informed interventions for young people under the supervision of a Clinical Psychologist. 

 

This is a full time, Fixed Term position for a period of 12 months, based at our Head Office in Birmingham.

 

Salary: £22,824 – £24,350 Per Annum, Pro rata

 

Closing Date: 13th April 2021, midday.   

 

Interviews to be held on 22nd April 2021.

 

You will be assisting in the development of staff within the PIE framework, to ensure that St Basils teams adhere to an empathic, reflective, evidence-based approach which maximises the likelihood of positive outcomes for Young People. To assist in administration, conduct of audits, collection of statistics, and development of audits, service evaluation and/or research projects, training and project work. This work will include use of remote and virtual platforms.

Working alongside psychologists in the PIE Team and from the University of Birmingham to support the development of a PIE approach in other settings: such as education, homelessness and housing.  This will involve supporting with teaching, case consultations and reflective practice. The post holder will also provide support and wellbeing programmes to St Basils’ staff under the supervision of the Clinical Psychologist.

The post holder will be required to be an effective communicator and demonstrate qualities such as warmth, compassion, reflective ability and creativity as part of the PIE team. The post holder will be expected to use remote video technology such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams to contact staff, young people and other professionals.

 

This will be provided through:

  • Supporting the PIE Lead to deliver PIE training and reflective practice to St Basils managers and staff, to support the quality outcomes.
  • Identifying any trends, gaps in service provision and improvements required and raise them with line manager
  • Assisting in the design and implementation of audit and research projects.
  • Undertaking data collection, analysis, the production of reports and summaries, using IT and statistical programmes.
  • Undertaking searches of evidence-based literature and research to assist qualified professional psychologists in evidence-based practice in individual work and work with other professionals.

This is a full time, Fixed Term position for a period of 12 months, based at our Head Office in Birmingham.

 

Salary: £22,824 – £24,350 Per Annum, Pro rata

We are looking to recruit an Assistant Pyschologist (PIE) to support and enhance the implementation of a Psychologically Informed Environment (PIE) within St. Basils, including; providing psychological assessment, formulation and supporting staff with delivering psychological informed interventions for young people under the supervision of a Clinical Psychologist. 

 

This is a full time, Fixed Term position for a period of 12 months, based at our Head Office in Birmingham.

 

Salary: £22,824 – £24,350 Per Annum, Pro rata

Interviews to be held on 22nd April 2021.

 

You will be assisting in the development of staff within the PIE framework, to ensure that St Basils teams adhere to an empathic, reflective, evidence-based approach which maximises the likelihood of positive outcomes for Young People. To assist in administration, conduct of audits, collection of statistics, and development of audits, service evaluation and/or research projects, training and project work. This work will include use of remote and virtual platforms.

Working alongside psychologists in the PIE Team and from the University of Birmingham to support the development of a PIE approach in other settings: such as education, homelessness and housing.  This will involve supporting with teaching, case consultations and reflective practice. The post holder will also provide support and wellbeing programmes to St Basils’ staff under the supervision of the Clinical Psychologist.

The post holder will be required to be an effective communicator and demonstrate qualities such as warmth, compassion, reflective ability and creativity as part of the PIE team. The post holder will be expected to use remote video technology such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams to contact staff, young people and other professionals.

 

This will be provided through:

  • Supporting the PIE Lead to deliver PIE training and reflective practice to St Basils managers and staff, to support the quality outcomes.
  • Identifying any trends, gaps in service provision and improvements required and raise them with line manager
  • Assisting in the design and implementation of audit and research projects.
  • Undertaking data collection, analysis, the production of reports and summaries, using IT and statistical programmes.
  • Undertaking searches of evidence-based literature and research to assist qualified professional psychologists in evidence-based practice in individual work and work with other professionals.
