We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Employee Relations Officer to join the HR team to offer support with Employee Relations, Absence Management and Health & Wellbeing.  If you enjoy managing a varied workload in a fast paced environment then this could be the opportunity you are looking for.  This role is based from our Head Office in Digbeth, offering the flexibility to have a mix of office based and home based working.

 

 

Salary: £22,824 – 24,350 per annum, pro rata

St Basils works with young people aged 16-25 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, helping over 5000 young people per year across the West Midlands region with specific services in Birmingham, Sandwell, Solihull, Walsall, Warwickshire, Worcestershire, the Wyre Forest and Coventry. This is a fantastic opportunity to help support the needs of young people within a new St Basils service.

Key activities specific to the role include:

  • Provide an operational level of support to St Basils Managers in Employee Relations issues providing expert professional advice.
  • To manage formal and informal case work, supporting disciplinary and grievance cases, absence management and health and wellbeing.
  • Maintain and review sickness and absence processes and procedures ensuring stages set out in the policy are adhered to in a fair and consistent manner.

The ideal candidate will hold:

  • Level 5 CIPD qualified or other related qualification
  • Experience within a HR environment in a similar role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Employee Relations Officer to join the HR team to offer support with Employee Relations, Absence Management and Health & Wellbeing.  If you enjoy managing a varied workload in a fast paced environment then this could be the opportunity you are looking for.  This role is based from our Head Office in Digbeth, offering the flexibility to have a mix of office based and home based working.

 

 

Salary: £22,824 – 24,350 per annum, pro rata

 

Job Type: Permanent, Full Time

St Basils works with young people aged 16-25 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, helping over 5000 young people per year across the West Midlands region with specific services in Birmingham, Sandwell, Solihull, Walsall, Warwickshire, Worcestershire, the Wyre Forest and Coventry. This is a fantastic opportunity to help support the needs of young people within a new St Basils service.

Key activities specific to the role include:

  • Provide an operational level of support to St Basils Managers in Employee Relations issues providing expert professional advice.
  • To manage formal and informal case work, supporting disciplinary and grievance cases, absence management and health and wellbeing.
  • Maintain and review sickness and absence processes and procedures ensuring stages set out in the policy are adhered to in a fair and consistent manner.

The ideal candidate will hold:

  • Level 5 CIPD qualified or other related qualification
  • Experience within a HR environment in a similar role
