We are looking to appoint a Performance Improvement Consultant to join our Performance Improvement Hub. 

 

The purpose of the Performance Improvement Hub is to enable the whole of St Basils organisation to understand and then improve their performance. This role covers both of these aspects, involving creating and building access to relevant performance metrics and enabling the delivery of improvements. To that end, this is a role that combines logic and analytics with good ‘people’ skills.

 

You will report to and work alongside the Director of Operational Support.

 

This is a permanent, full time role based at our Head office in Birmingham.

 

Salary SO1,  £25,314 – £26,988 per annum, pro rata

St Basils works with young people aged 16-25 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, the largest organisation working exclusively in the West Midlands helping some 5000 young people each year across the region with specific services in Birmingham, Sandwell, Solihull, Walsall, Warwickshire, Worcestershire, the Wyre Forest and Coventry.

 

The role holder needs to have a solid understanding of Lean Principles and standard tools and approaches. We would also expect you to have excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

 

Knowledge of Power Bi and Microsoft Access is desirable as they are key to creating the performance metrics.

 

 

Key activities and challenges specific to the role include:

  • Manipulating and analysing data to see trends and identify risks
  • Present data and analysis in various formats
  • Demonstrate knowledge and commitment to good practice in Equal Opportunities and Diversity
