St Basils works with young people aged 16-25 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, helping over 5000 young people per year across the West Midlands region with specific services in Birmingham, Sandwell, Solihull, Walsall, Warwickshire, Worcestershire, the Wyre Forest and Coventry. This is a fantastic opportunity to support the immediate needs of young people within St Basils’ care.
Key activities and challenges specific to the role include:
- To have overall responsibility for ensuring the delivery of high-quality Supported Lodgings and Nightstop services including income management/welfare reform, tenancy/licence management and allocations.
- The effective development and management of supported lodgings/nightstop services, ensuring compliance with contractual, regulatory, and statutory requirements for Birmingham, Solihull, Coventry, Worcestershire local authorities and other local authorities as required, which meets the identified needs of young people who are homeless or at risk.
- To identify any trends, gaps in service provision and improvements required and raise them with the Operations Director.
- To represent and promote the work of supported lodgings and nightstop and the agency externally establishing links locally, regionally, and nationally

- NVQ Level 5 in Care and/or Housing or equivalent

- Managing projects together with associated financial responsibility
- Working with volunteers/Students
