Children at four Catholic Primary schools create personalised Easter packages for young people

Our heartfelt thanks to the lovely and thoughtful gesture by school children attending four Catholic primary schools in south Birmingham who came together to create personalised Easter packages of chocolate treats for young people at St Basils.

Many of the bags were decorated with drawings and paintings, and they also all included a personal message from each child.

The four schools that took part were St. Peter’s Catholic Primary School in Bartley Green, St. John Fisher Catholic Primary School, in West Heath, as well as St. James Catholic Primary School and St. Columba’s Catholic Primary School, both located in Rednal.

Business and Communities Executive Pauline Clarke who collected and distributed all the packages said:

“Our young residents just want to know they are thought of and cared about and presents like this that really do have the personal touch are just so appreciated by our young people, they were so grateful to receive these, it really lifted their spirits and made them smile, and so we’d like to say a huge and heartfelt thank you to all the children who took part and took the time to create these wonderful vibrant packages full of treats”
