Nothing says festive spirit like getting together with like-minded individuals toward a common goal- ending youth homelessness. Consider sleeping out so a young person won't have to this winter. Signups to our famous flagship fundraiser are FREE.
Host a Christmas coffee morning or arrange a cake sale. Invite people to bake their festive treats and ask those enjoying a slice to make a donation. Consider turning things up a notch and making it into a bake-off competition, with everyone voting for their favourite!
Become the ultimate Christmas Quizmaster this festive season. Test your friends and family’s knowledge on all things festive and see who can beat the quizmaster! Ask your your local pub / restaurant to host the evening to make it extra special.
Celebrate the season with a Festive Lunch or potluck at work or home! Invite colleagues or friends / family and enjoy holiday dishes made together. Add fun by awarding prizes for the best festive meal or outfit.
Get your colleagues to spend their lunch hour making their workspace as festive as possible. Ask participants to make a small donation, then ask a panel of judges to give a prize to the best desk!
Ask the office if they would like to make a donation in their Secret Santa's name to St Basils! Alternatively, instead of spending £5 on Secret Santa pressies, ask your colleagues to set the limit at £4 and have everyone donate that spare £1 to St Basils.
Purchase any kind of crackers and insert a golden ticket into the middle section. Ask for a donation for each cracker and split ‘the pot’ between the lucky winner and St Basils.
Ask friends or colleagues to bring in photos of themselves as a baby or toddler and then get everyone to guess who’s who for a £1 donation. You could even offer a prize for the person with the highest number of correct guesses.
Hosting a Christmas wreath decorating party can be a fun way to celebrate the festive season and raise money for St Basils. Participants can pay a small donation to decorate a wreath - but make sure to provides lots of festive tinsel, baubles, and ribbons.
