You could host a race at the office or in your community group! Charge a small fee / donation to take part. Run some classic races for a bit of fun and a great teambuilding exercise. Egg & Spoon race, Bunny Hop race (3 legged race), Hard boiled egg rolling competition…

Host a coffee morning and cake sale anywhere—at school, work, or home! Gather friends, colleagues, or family for a cuppa and a chat while supporting a great cause. Encourage cake donations or turn it into a bake-off competition with a vote for the favourite treat!

Take part in one of our events in 2026, including our Lunchtime Landmarks event, a self guided tour of Birmingham. Other events include runs, hikes, cycling challenges, skydiving and community events. Just go to our events page to see what we have on our calendar this year!

Set yourself the challenge to give something up for Lent, Ramadan, or as a personal challenge - whether it's chocolate, alcohol, meat, shopping, or Tik Tok. You could donate the money you would have spent on these things or you could get some sponsorship to achieve your goal!

Spring is the perfect time of year to have a clear out and refresh… out with the old and in with the new! Consider selling your unwanted clothes and items online to raise funds for St Basils. If your group has access to a venue, why not host a bring-and-buy or tabletop sale? Donate unwanted items or gifts, sell refreshments, and even run a raffle to boost your fundraising.

Collect donations of chocolate treats from group members / employees or even local retailers. Create some lovely chocaholic hampers and raffle them off as prizes to raise funds for our young people.

Create an Easter tree for your office or meeting place from an offcut tree branch! Consider using items from our donations wishlist to create egg shaped tags for your tree. Employees/group members could choose a tag from the tree and replace with a donation. You could even make a creative competition out of it and get staff or group members to decorate the eggs for the tree with a small prize for the best decorated!

Organise an egg or treasure hunt for your group or in your workplace, you could charge a small entry fee to locate the hidden eggs or clues… Make it harder with challenges to complete on your way round.
