Can you help our Coventry and Warks services with winter woollies and treats for 'Come out of the Cold' events?
12 DEC 2016

Both our Coventry and Warwickshire services work with young people experiencing a range of difficulties or who are disadvantaged in some way. These services aim to prevent youth homelessness. Both services are planning 'Come out of the Cold' events for the young people they work with.

Christmas can be a hard time of year, most of our young people won’t be celebrating Christmas with their families so we want to make it special for them. We need your help to do this!

Coventry staff are holding their event on Monday 19th December. Thanks to an appeal launched via Social Media in November in conjunction with our general xmas shoebox appeal, over 70 xmas shoeboxes containing presents and treats for young people have been donated with is fantastic! Our Coventry staff would like to say a HUGE THANK YOU to  local people and organisations (such as Coventry Comfort Carers) who have assisted with this.

However, ideally, more are needed to ensure that every young person can be included.

If you can help please drop off your donations to:

John Sinclair House
Coventry Canal Basin
St. Nicholas Street

Our staff in Warwickshire would like to thank local people and businesses (including Magic Ally and DCS Group) for their generous donations to their local appeal. They now have enough Christmas gifts, toiletries, books and treats for the young people they work with for Christmas but are still in need of some donations of winter woolies, dropped off to our Warks HQ in Stratford-upon-Avon, for the cold winter months ahead.

They are also in need of a location in Stratford-upon-Avon to hold their own 'Come out of the Cold event'.

Thanks so much for the support!
