We have two opportunities for a Cleaner / Housekeeper at our projects based in Coventry. These are permanent, part time positions. Position 1 is working 20 hours, Monday – Friday, 10am – 2pm.  Position 2 is working 10 hours, Monday – Friday, 10am – 12pm.  

 

Salary:  £18,525 pro-rata, per annum (£9.50 per hour).

 

Closing date: 31st March, midday

St Basils works with young people aged 16-25 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, helping over 5000 young people per year across the West Midlands region with specific services in Birmingham, Sandwell, Solihull, Walsall, Warwickshire, Worcestershire, the Wyre Forest and Coventry. This is a fantastic opportunity to provide a clean and safe environment to young people.

 

Key activities specific to the role include:

  • To clean rooms e.g. bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchens etc.
  • To clean beds and cot mattresses, furniture, doors, blinds curtains, woodwork, lamp shades, fans, radiators, windows and frames.
  • To replenish cleaning supplies and restock items such as toilet rolls, paper towels and soap.

The ideal candidates will:

  • Be professional and organised.
  • Hold a driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
  • Have the ability to work quickly and thoroughly.
  • Have a good understanding of COSSH
