Whether you want to “Tri a Triathlon” or are an experienced triathlete, The Birmingham Triathlon has challenging distances for all abilities.

The fabulous venue of Sutton Park, Birmingham will continue to be the setting for this year’s Birmingham Triathlon, following its use as a venue for the Commonwealth Games in 2022. In the centre of the country and served by excellent road links, Sutton Park gives us a perfect setting for a memorable triathlon experience.

Why choose the Birmingham Triathlon?

This beautiful rural setting with ‘closed to traffic’ cycle course is a true test for competitors of all abilities, whether your a first time novice or an experienced club and age group triathlete. The swim in Powell’s Pool seen at the Commonwealth Games Triathlon 2022, is a perfect setting for the start of a memorable triathlon experience.

You can enter and complete the entire swim, bike, run triathlon yourself or as part of a relay team of 2 or 3 and share the challenge of swim, bike, run!

"Finish with a run through ancient woodland"

📍 The Route...

You’ll start with a open water swim in Powell’s Pool, the largest lake in the park at 48 acres. Then, it’s a closed to traffic bike course within the park followed by a rural run through heathland and ancient woodland.
